TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane, is a linear block copolymer composed of oligomer polyol soft segment and diisocyanate-chain extender hard segment. TPU can be made into thin films by salivation, film blowing, calendering or coating. It has the superior characteristics of good elasticity, toughness, wear resistance, good cold resistance, environmental protection and non-toxicity.

Generally, the factories that do post-lamination processing are not large in scale. There are many small factories in China, most of which buy TPU films from outside film factories, and only complete the process of gluing and laminating themselves. The post-sticking process requires high temperature and high pressure on the TPU film again. Improper process control will cause damage to the film and even small holes.
There are two methods for TPU composite fabrics, one is called post-lamination: first make a TPU film and then glue it on the fabric, and the other is called online composite: apply glue on the fabric or not glue it, and directly put the TPU on it.
